Learning is power
At Sequoia Hospital we know that knowledge is power. Our patients want to make educated decisions about their health care. To help facilitate that learning, we offer three suggestions:
- Our patient navigator is here to help you. Please call for assitance with scheduling appointments, contacting physicians, or providing outside resources. Please call (650) 261-2302 and ask for Carol Walovich, RN, our patient navigator.
- The most important relationship is between you and your physician. Please do not hesitate to ask your referring physician questions about your treatment options or for a list of specialists you may need. Physicians at Sequoia are independent, highly skilled specialists who collaborate to recommend the treatment plan most appropriate for you.
